Matthew Pierce D.D.S.
Dr. Pierce was born in Anderson and raised in New Palestine, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a degree in Biology and Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology Study Club. Dr. Pierce received his Fellowship with the IDIA (International Dental Implant Association). Dr. Pierce enjoys the challenges of dentistry as well as the opportunity to work with patients on a personal level. He has extensive training and experience with Invisalign, Implants, CEREC (Same day crowns) and other specialized forms of dental treatment. He is eager to welcome new patients to the practice.
When not in the office, Dr. Pierce and his wife enjoy traveling, working out, sporting events, movies and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Pierce received the Rising Star of Jackson County Award in 2018, participated in Dancing with Stars of Seymour, and participates in numerous community outreach activities. He's proud to serve Jackson county and all of the surrounding areas at this dental practice.
Haley Doose, D.M.D
Dr. Haley is from Bowling Green, Kentucky and brings a bit of southern hospitality to all of her patients. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry and then went on to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She has a passion for community and family, and hopes that is conveyed in time spent with her. When she's not in the office, she enjoys hiking with her dog Eloise, working out, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Douglas Gardner, D.D.S.
Dr. Doug grew up in Greenwood, Indiana. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Health and Disease Biology. After Purdue, he graduated from Marquette School of Dentistry. Doug is excited to be back home in the Hoosier state. He strives to be a lifelong learner and is continuously looking for new and innovative ways to help his patients achieve happier and healthier smiles. Doug and his wife currently have two dogs and are expecting their first child in July of 2021. When not seeing patients, he enjoys traveling, trying new and different food, and fishing, especially ice fishing. Doug is an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacer and Purdue University athletics.
Kim – Office Manager/Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kim is a very versatile team member who is able to work in various areas throughout the office. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry Dental Assisting Program in 1989 and keeps her radiology certification current. She has since earned her certificate qualifying her as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She joined the Jackson County Dental team in June 2007. Kim is a lifelong resident of Jackson County and the mother of a daughter and son. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, gardening, and is an active member in her church.
Tammy - Financial Coordinator
Tammy has many years in the financial aspect of dentistry. This experience allows her to caringly discuss the treatment needed and the best financial option to meet your specific needs. She can also help you to maximize your insurance benefits. Tammy has been with Jackson County Dental since September 1999. She and her husband have one son. Outside of work, she enjoys boating with her family and Jeep rides.
Brittany - Financial Coordinator
Brittany joined Jackson County Dental in January 2017. She has been in the dental field since 2009. She received her expanded functions dental assisting degree through the University of Louisville Dental School. After graduating with her dental assisting degree, Brittany decided to continue her education. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Brittany's love for dental kept her in the dental field, just on the business side. Brittany is a Jackson County native and the mother of three children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Brittany also enjoys shopping, attending sporting events and exploring new cities.
Danielle - Schedule Coordinator
Danielle joined our team with over 15 years of administrative office experience. She is normally the pleasant voice you will hear first on the telephone and the welcoming smile that greets you as you enter the office. Danielle and her husband of 14 years plus, are both Jackson county natives. When not working she keeps busy with her son and daughter's busy sport schedules.
Niki - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Niki is an experienced Dental Assistant since 1993, is certified to take x-rays and has worked at the office since July 1999. She has received her certificate in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting from IU School of Dentistry. Niki takes pride in doing her best to provide quality dental care for each dental patient. Niki and her husband have a son and two adorable grandchildrem. They enjoy the summer months when they camp and spend time on their boat.
Katie - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Katie became a member of our team in October 2017. She is a graduate of ATA College of Dental Assisting and received her Expanded Certificate in March of 2018 from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Katie is a great asset to our team and loves caring for our patients. Katie and her husband are parents to a beautiful baby girl and a adorable goldendoodle. When not at work, she enjoys the outdoor life and spending time with friends and family.
Jennifer - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Jennifer completed her dental assisting training at Medquest College in 2013 and has her expanded duties certificate. She has past experience in general dentistry, as well as in pediatric dentistry. Jennifer enjoys volunteering with the Scott county 4-H program. She also, owns her own photography business. With her free time she loves to hike and spend time outdoors with her young son.
Virginia - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Virginia brings many years of experience to our team having graduated from the Professional Careers Institute Dental Assisting program in 1985. She received her Expanded Function Dental Assistant training at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1986. Virginia's lighthearted humor brings joy to her co-workers and patients. She and her husband of more than 20 years have been Jackson County resident's since 1992. When not in the dental office, Virginia enjoys traveling, beekeeping, winemaking, gardening, and spending time we her grown daughter and son.
Holly - Dental Hygienist
Holly joined Jackson County Dental upon graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry Hygiene Program in 2006. She enjoys working with her patients and helping them stay on the course for good dental health. Holly is a native of Jackson County and is married to Kyle, who is the Athletic Trainer at Seymour High School, and also a native of Jackson County. Together they have three sons, Grady, Cooper and Colton. Holly and her family love all things sports. They are avid IU fans and enjoy watching their boys play in all of their sporting activities. Holly also enjoys running, biking and reading a good book!
Debbie - Dental Hygienist
Debbie joined the Jackson County Dental team in April 2000. She graduated from the University of Louisville Dental Hygiene Program in 1998. Debbie’s priority to the patients is to build a relationship with each one so she may communicate to them the importance of good dental care. Debbie was born and raised in Scott County and is married with two children. Her family enjoys camping, boating and is active in 4-H.
Chelsea - Dental Hygienist
Chelsea graduated from Ivy Tech Dental Hygiene Program in 2011 and joined our team at Jackson County Dental in June of 2017. Chelsea has a passion for helping others and educating her patients on good oral health. She lives in North Vernon with her husband and two adorable daughters. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys boating, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Colleen - Dental Hygienist
Colleen graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2000 and spent the first seven years of her career with Jackson County Dental. We are excited to have her back with us since September 2019. Colleen strives to make each appointment as comfortable as possible for her patients. Colleen and her husband, of over 20 years, are the proud parents of two teenage sons. In her free time she enjoys music, the sunshine, watching her boys’ activities, and hanging out with friends and family.
