Matthew Pierce, D.D.S.
Dr. Pierce was born in Anderson and raised in New Palestine, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a degree in Biology and Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology Study Club. Dr. Pierce enjoys the challenges of dentistry as well as the opportunity to work with patients on a personal level. He is eager to welcome new patients to the practice.
When not in the office, Dr. Pierce enjoys traveling, working out, sporting events, movies and spending time with friends and family.
Lane Severe, D.D.S.
Dr. Severe was born and raised in the rocky mountains of Northern Utah. After graduating from Utah State University with degrees in Finance, Economics, and Chemistry he moved to Indianapolis to complete his dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Severe enjoys helping people feel confident about themselves through a beautiful smile, and healthy body. He tries to provide the highest quality of care possible for each patient that is seen. His goal to help everyone enjoy coming to the dentist in an atmosphere that is comfortable and they feel that they get the best dental care available.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Severe spends as much time as he can with his wife and newborn son. He is an avid outdoorsman that enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and anything else that gets him outside. When you come in to see him, be sure to bring pictures of your own outdoor adventures to share with us!
Kim – Office Manager/Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kim is a very versatile team member who is able to work in various areas throughout the office. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry Dental Assisting Program in 1989 and keeps her radiology certification current. She has since earned her certificate qualifying her as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She joined the Jackson County Dental team in June 2007. Kim is a lifelong resident of Jackson County and the mother of a daughter and son. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, gardening, and is an active member in her church.
Danielle - Scheduling Coordinator
Danielle is the scheduling coordinator for Jackson County Dental. She has an Associate’s Degree in Human Services and has spent many years in customer service. She enjoys the chance to be the first of many smiles our patients see when coming into the office. In her spare time she loves camping with her husband and two rambunctious dogs. She also enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Tammy – Financial Coordinator
Tammy has many years in the financial aspect of dentistry. This experience allows her to caringly discuss the treatment needed and the best financial option to meet your specific needs. She can also help you to maximize your insurance benefits. Tammy has been with Jackson County Dental since September 1999. She and her husband have a son, and they are active in their church and in 4-H..
Brittany joined Jackson County Dental in January 2017. She has been in the dental field since 2009. She received her expanded functions dental assisting degree through the University of Louisville Dental School. After graduating with her dental assisting degree, Brittany decided to continue her education. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Brittany’s love for dental kept her in the dental field, just on the business side. Brittany is a Jackson County native and is married with three young children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Brittany also enjoys shopping, attending sporting events and exploring new cities.
Niki - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Niki is an experienced Dental Assistant since 1993, is certified to take x-rays and has worked at the office since July 1999. She has received her certificate in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting from IU School of Dentistry. Niki takes pride in doing her best to provide quality dental care for each dental patient. She is married with one son. They enjoy the summer months when they camp and spend time on their boat.
Haley – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Haley graduated from International Business College in 2011 with an Associates Degree in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting and began her work with Jackson County Dental in January 2012. She enjoys the artistic side of dentistry by utilizing her skills to place fillings, among many other tasks that the Expanded Certificate allows a dental assistant to perform. Haley is an only child and was raised and continues to live in Scott County with her husband. She enjoys riding four wheelers, dirt bikes, hunting and being with her family.
Jordyn – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Jordyn graduated from Ivy Tech with a Techinical certificate in Dental Assisting and Expanded Functions. Jordyn was born and raised in Jackson County. As a child Jordyn did not enjoy going to the dentist, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry to help change people's outlook and perception of the dental world. Jordyn, along with her daughter, loves spending time with family and friends.
Holly – Dental Hygienist
Holly joined Jackson County Dental upon graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry Hygiene Program in 2006. She enjoys working with her patients and helping them stay on the course for good dental health. Holly is a native of Jackson County and is married with three sons. When not spending time with her family and friends, Holly enjoys working out and reading.
Sheila – Dental Hygienist
Sheila has experience in the dental field since 1984. She joined our team in September 2007. After many years as a scheduling coordinator and assistant, she returned to IU School of Dentistry where she graduated in 2004 from the Dental Hygiene School. Sheila has a passion for educating her patients and providing the best care possible so they can have great dental health. Sheila is married and has three children. She enjoys shopping, reading, attending sporting events, and spending time with her granddaughter.
Debbie – Dental Hygienist
Debbie joined the Jackson County Dental team in April 2000. She graduated from the University of Louisville Dental Hygiene Program in 1998. Debbie’s priority to the patients is to build a relationship with each one so she may communicate to them the importance of good dental care. Debbie was born and raised in Scott County and is married with two children. Her family enjoys camping, boating and is active in 4-H.
